  Digital Photography                                                                                                           1/2 credit / Semester-long course

Course Description:    To provide 10 - 12 grade students with an introduction to world of photography and how what we see isn’t necessarily real!

Objectives:    Students will gain a better understanding of and appreciation for photography by taking pictures and then manipulating them.  Students will learn different techniques for improving pictures that they currently take as well as learning how digital images can be changed.  Manipulating digital music as well

Major Units of Study:

Course Textbook(s):    None. All projects, quizzes, are due on date published.  Students absent, will have 10 working days to turn in late assignments, with 10% deduction per day.

Final Assessment   Throughout the semester based on projects completed

Materials Needed:
    pencils, paper – Other material is provided online

Prerequisites:    Computer Lit
